Breakout stocks today

Stocks setting up before a breakout: tight bases just under a resistance tested again and again.

What happened to past setups

Stocks that broke out today, and the record of every morning list →

Every setup shown on this page, with the day it was shown and what the stock did next: a close above the pivot is a breakout; a close under the base's support line, or 8% under the price it was shown at, is a failure. Nothing is removed.

What the radar looks for

  • A resistance tested at least three times, and a floor touched at least three times.
  • The two lines converging: the range narrows toward the resistance.
  • A tight last 10 sessions, with most of the base above the 21-day EMA.
  • Up-day volume holding up against down-day volume, and volume drying up inside the base.
  • A real advance of 15% or more before the base, and price within 8% of the pivot.

“Near breakout” setups pass every check; watchlist ones miss one or two.

Not advice

These are measured chart patterns, not recommendations. Many setups never break out, and some that do fail afterwards. Do your own research and manage your risk.
